Before Christ’s Healing
For years, my life was marked by pain, trauma, abuse, abandonment, addiction, and spiritual warfare. There were seasons when I felt trapped by my past and wondered if I would ever experience true freedom. I searched for healing in places that ultimately left me feeling empty, discouraged, and hopeless. For many years, I carried wounds that affected every area of my life. There were times when I felt trapped by my past, overwhelmed by my circumstances, and unsure if lasting freedom was even possible.
I searched for healing in places that ultimately left me feeling empty, discouraged, and hopeless. No matter how hard I tried to move forward, I couldn’t escape the weight of what I’d experience. I longed for peace, purpose, and a fresh start but didn’t know how to find it. So I turned to substances, relationships, people pleasing, and other unhealthy behaviors looking for any type of relief only to find more chaos, destruction, and deeper void inside my soul. I found myself stuck in a cycle that seemed to have no escape.
God Met Me
Even when I couldn’t see Him, God was pursuing me.
As I began drawing closer to Jesus Christ, He started revealing His love, His truth, and His faithfulness in ways I had never experienced before. Instead of condescending me for my past, He met me with grace and mercy.
As I surrendered more of my life to Him, He began changing me from the inside out. He renewed my mind, strengthened my faith, and showed me that my identify wasn’t found in what had happened to me or by the mistakes I’d made. My identity was and is found in Him.
What God Has Done
God has shown me that He truly is a God of redemption.
He has brought healing where there was brokenness, hope where there was despair, and purpose where there once seemed to be none. He has taught me that freedom is not simply leaving the past behind—it’s becoming the person He created me to be.
One of the greatest lessons He’s taught me is that He doesn’t waste our pain. What the enemy intends for destruction, God can redeem for His story.
Today, I don’t see my past as something to hide, I see it as evidence of God’s grace, His mercy, and His power to transform lives.
Why I Coach
That transformation I experienced is why I created From Pain to Purpose Coaching.
I don’t believe God rescued me simply so I could keep His faithfulness to myself. I believe He brought me through difficult seasons so I could encourage others who are walking through their own wilderness season.
My heart is to point people to Jesus while walking alongside them as they pursue healing, freedom, spiritual growth, and God’s purpose for their lives.
Whether you’re struggling with addiction, healing from abuse, searching for hope, or simply longing to grow closer to Christ, I want you to know that you don’t have to walk that journey alone.
My Prayer for You
If there’s one thing I hope you take away from my testimony, it’s this:
Your story is not over…
No matter what you’ve been through…
No matter how broken you feel…
No matter how impossible your situation seems…
Jesus still changes lives.
He is still healing.
He is still restoring.
He is still setting captives free.
And He still has a purpose for your life.
My prayer is that my story doesn’t point you to me, it points you to Jesus, because every good thing in my life is a result of His grace and His mercy.
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” (Revelation 12:11)
